Caledonia Hosiery is a family-run business founded by myself, Steve, a second-generation sock-maker and my wife Sue, who has become as obsessed with socks as I am.

Our socks are made in the picturesque town of Forres, Scotland. We make every effort to source yarns from as close to home as possible. The socks we manufacture are made with passion and care.
I learned my craft through an apprenticeship which began in 1990 at a company producing half a million pairs of socks per week. Thirty years on and I still get a buzz from every sock I make. I pride myself on the high standards I set myself for attention to detail and quality.

We currently only deliver throughout the UK. We aim to despatch your purchase throughout the UK within 3-5 business days from receipt of order - subject to stock availability. In the event a particular item is out of stock, we will advise you and provide an estimated delivery time. If the revised delivery date is not acceptable to you, we will refund your purchase in full. Delivery costs for items sold on this website are £3.20. For purchases over £30.00, all items qualify for free standard delivery throughout the UK. If you need an item in a hurry, please contact us directly. Although we cannot promise, we will try our best to help. There may be a small fee for this service due to us expediting the shipping process.
You can cancel your purchase by contacting us directly via email or phone within 24 hours of order being placed. In such case, a full refund will be made to the original method of payment. You can return your goods with proof of purchase within 28 days of date of invoice to: Caledonia Hosiery, 5 Greshop Road, Forres. IV36 2GU. The goods must be in new, unused, and unworn condition on return. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods Caledonia Hosiery reserve the right not to accept your return. Caledonia Hosiery will refund your purchase price along with postage costs to you in full within 28 days of the receipt of your returned goods. Please note, proof of postage is not proof of delivery. Please obtain proof of postage in case your package fails to reach us.
