SALE NOW ON – REDUCED FROM £249 to £199

Based on a  collectable antique rocking chair design this bentwood shape is made of solid hardwood. The wood has been sanded to provide a smooth surface which I then painted by hand in Fusion French Egg Shell grey and Azure blue. A matt chalk type looking finish gives a soft smooth look. Fusion paint dry’s hard and strong, and once cured does not need any extra further protection. It’s so easy to look after and clean, just wipe over with a dry duster.

The underneath rockers have had an added tough coat applied to give added protection if used on a hard floor.

The weave rattan on the seat and back is original and has been painted in Fusion French Eggshell

Brush on Wood is a tiny enterprise created by Furniture Artist Nicky Middleton-Jones. Working from home Nicky paints old furniture that would have otherwise been thrown away. Nicky was originally a graphic designer and more recently an interior designer, turning to furniture painting in 2016 when she struggled to find the right pieces of furniture for her clients.

Shipping policy

FREE UK mainland shipping costs are included in the price of the item listed and must be paid for in advance. If you are outside of the UK mainland please contact us to discuss alternative delivery methods. We always use a professional furniture courier to ship items throughout the country. The shipping cost includes delivery to ground floor only by one delivery person. If you require the item to be moved up stairs etc you will need to pay the courier additional costs to cover their time. Brush on Wood will pack the item prior to courier collection The courier can take anything from three to six weeks to collect and deliver the item due to locations and when the courier is in my area for collection. Brush on Wood will securely and safely pack the item prior to courier collection.
