A lovely hand made and hand decorated teapot or hot pan stand of studio white earthenware clay, dried and hand decorated with underglazes and slip and a variety of chickens. It is then fired for the first time in a “bisquit firing” and the clay changes forever to ceramics through the heat of the kiln at 1100 degrees Celcius. The next stage of the process is that the The stand glazed with a transparent glaze and fired again in the “glaze firing” to emerge as this lovely tile stand to support your teapot or hot pan with silicone supports on the reverse side, not to damage your furniture. A great way to use in in your kitchen, for decoration, to enjoy and admire it.
As each product is individually hand thrown on the potter’s wheel and therefor unique, slight variables in size and colour are possible, but this is kept to a minimum. Measurements: 15cm square. All ceramics have a stamp “Handcrafted in Wales” and Siramik’s logo stamp on the bottom of the item.
If the item is not in stock, I will make it for you. Delivery time in that case, because of the process of creating handmade ceramics items from start, will be around 4 to 5 weeks from the date of the order.
