A lovely hand thrown and hand decorated milk jug made out of studio white earthenware clay, dried and hand decorated with underglazes and slip and a variety of chickens. It is then fired for the first time in a “bisquit firing” and the clay changes forever to ceramics through the heat of the kiln at 1100 degrees Celcius.
The jug is then glazed with a transparent glaze and fired again in the “glaze firing” to emerge as this lovely milk jug to accompany your freshly cooked breakfast and tea of coffee. Nice to put some newly emerging spring flowers in or just using it for decoration, to enjoy and admire it.
As each product is individually hand thrown on the potter’s wheel and therefor unique, slight variation in size and colour are possible, but this is kept to a minimum. Measurements: height 14.5cm, widest part 8cm. All ceramics have a stamp “Handcrafted in Wales” and Siramik’s logo stamp on the bottom of the item.
If the item is not in stock, I will make it for you. Delivery time, because of the process of creating hand made ceramic items from start, will be around 4 to 5 weeks from the date of the order.
