Mamelok originates from Breslau, now known as Wroclaw, in Poland, and was launched in the first half of the 19th century. One of the first commercial colour printing companies, Mamelok developed as a publisher by selling religious pictures (also known as oleographs) and embossed scrap reliefs. The company came to London in 1940 and in 1968 moved to Bury St Edmunds in 1968 before buying a German company called Heilbronn und Pinner (known as H&P Decorations).
Now based just outside Cambridge, Mamelok continues to manufacture and sell paper party masks, paper garlands, Christmas and everyday cards, scrap reliefs and flags and bunting to customers all over the world. As a result, you can now buy our products in shops, museums and galleries, via mail order and online.

Manufactured and hand finished with love in the United Kingdom, our garlands are all printed on high-quality card before being diecut and embossed to highlight the nuances of the image. Each garland comes strung and ready to hang along your mantelpiece, feature wall or staircase and measures approximately 1.2m x 95mm.

Shipping policy
While we will make every effort to ensure all items are in stock, there will be occasions when we cannot guarantee this, owing to the unique production process. We will inform you at the earliest opportunity should you order a product which is temporarily out of stock. We will offer a replacement or refund.
We aim to despatch all orders within three working days.
Under normal circumstances, UK delivery will therefore take up to seven working days from receipt of order. Please note, however, that during the current Covid-19 pandemic, deliveries may take longer than usual, and this is entirely outside our control.
Please add a note to your order during checkout if you need express delivery for a particular reason and we will do our best to ensure that you receive them within that timeframe. Unless otherwise agreed, all items are despatched by Royal Mail first class in the UK. These services are untracked and delivery cannot be guaranteed within a certain timescale. We are unable to offer a refund for any items which fail to arrive by a certain date unless you have requested and paid for express or tracked delivery. If any part of your order is out of stock we will inform you and despatch the available items only, unless an imminent reprint is due.
Any claim based on any defect in quality or condition of the products must be notified to us within three days of delivery after which you will be deemed to have accepted the products.
Refund policy
We can accept returns only if we have supplied an incorrect item, or if the item is damaged on receipt. We cannot accept returns if the order has failed to arrive within a certain timeframe unless you have requested and paid for express or tracked delivery. To return any goods, please enclose a letter with the goods, in original packaging, stating the reason for return clearly marking whether you would like a refund or an exchange and return it to:
